I watched a movie today that had to do with the war in Iraq. Once again, I was enlightened on how messed up a lot of this world is. It provoked me to ask myself a question, “What are us Christians, the light of the world, doing about all of the horrible things that are going on? What are we doing to reach these people with the peace Jesus has to offer?” Right after the movie ended I went to the computer and began researching. I was shaken by what I found.

Approximately one third of the world’s 6.5 billion people have never been told about Jesus Christ. 55,000 of these people die every day and go to hell. Want to know what we are doing to help them? We are sending them 2.5% of our 410,000 missionaries, and .54% of the 12,300 billion dollars we give to the church every year. I don’t know what you think, but I think there is some thing wrong here.

Are we just going to live our lives and act like nothing is wrong? Or are we going to do something about it? We try to shove these statistics to the back of our minds and just forget about them but we can’t. We have what it takes to save these peoples lives but we aren’t even trying! We have the cure to the most deadly disease in the history of man kind but we aren’t sharing it! Yea, we go to church, we give an offering, we say “God bless you” to the news paper man, but are we doing anything to help the 2 billion un-reached people in this world?

I want you to ask yourself this one simple question. What are you doing about it?
